– 12:30/1pm – Setup & Potluck
– 2pm to 2:20pm – Check-in for Organized Play
– 2:30pm-ish – Play Ball
– Finish – 5pm-ish
Registration
To registration for Organized Play, email your following information to 757pnp@gmail.com before 10pm, Friday February 27th.(*must send**)
– 1) *NAME**
– 2) *EMAIL ADDRESS**
– 3) *PHONE NUMBER**
– 4) *Permission** to post your rank online for other participants to see (Yes/No)
– 5) *Self-Rating**
– 6) DUPR or other Rating system
– 7) How did you hear about the 757 Potluck & Pickleball?
– If you have messaged all of the stared information previously you need only send a request to play, but submission is not complete until all information is received.
– The first 44 people to complete submissions (divisible by 4) are guarantied to play in Organized Play.
– Those that submit after a cut off point will be placed on a waiting list and brought in to play based on the order of time of submission.
– Registration information will be used to track your performance and with your permission we’ll share your rank with others.
– You may include a request to be on the court with a specific person in The Mixer, if both people request to play together, it can happen.
– Please let us know if you plan to come late or leave early, we will see what we can do to accommodate.
– If you don’t make deadline still send registration and please come to the Potluck, we will do our best to get you in. PVB has 44 courts and 8 are challenge courts, you can always play there and eat with us.
Setup & potluck
– All non-members must check-in at front desk.
– I will arrive at the court about 12:30pm to start setting things up, your help is appreciated.
– Potluck will begin as people show up.
– I have plates, napkins, and plastic wear.
– There are tables we can use at PVB.
– Please let us know what you are bringing in the Whatsapp group.
– All that bring a dish or beverages to share are welcome to Potluck.
– If you come to play in Organized Play, on other courts, hang-out, or were dragged out by another, you’re in for the Potluck.
-Corn hole will be available to pass the time for those while not on the court.
– Each court will be given a clipboard, a pen, and assigned players.
– Check-in for play between 2pm and 2:20pm.
– You must be registered.
– If you are not registered arrive before 2pm to register.
– We will try to get you can get you worked in, if we can.
– You must be at the Potluck staging area at 2:30pm, or you may be removed from play.
– We will get you on the courts as soon as possible.
– Each court will be given a clipboard, a pen, and assigned a court.
– Playtime should be about 2.5 – 3 hours
oRGANIZED PLAY, Layout 02/28/26
– The evening is intended to get you to play with and against as many people as possible and be competitive. Oh & eat till ye be merry.
– Two Match Types
– 1st Match Type, The Mixer (Just a Warm-up, Mixed Levels)
– 1 match with 3 games to start the night
– You will be paired 3 other people
– Play 1 game with each person to 11 points
– Each game will have a 13 minute time limit
– If the current game is tied play 1 rally point to end the game
– 2nd Match Type, Competitive Play
– Remainder of the night
– You will be placed on a starting court close to skill level
– Play 1 game to 15 points
– Gameplay will stop after 20 minutes
– If the current game is tied play 1 rally point to end the game
– If you and your partner win, you move to a more difficult court and split
– If you and your partner loose, you move to a less difficult court and split
